OPENINGS:
The Department of Redevelopment has completed construction of the Cherry Street Mult-Modal Transportation Facility at 750 Cherry Street. Larry Bird Avenue between 7th and 8th Street, 8th Street from Eagle Street to Cherry Street and Cherry Street from 7th Street to 9th Street are now open to through traffic. The Department of Redevelopment has completed road reconstruction on Beach Street from 29th Street to 31st Street. This street is now open to through traffic. If anyone should have any questions or comments, feel free to contact Dave Walker, at 232-0018 ext. 18.

CLOSINGS:
The Department of Redevelopment has begun road construction on FRUITRIDGE AVENUE from Fort Harrison Road North to Steelton Road. This work will include widening of the North and Southbound lanes to four lanes, curb and gutter, milling, stone base, and placement of new roadway asphalt. A traffic signal will be installed at the Steelton Road intersection. NOTE: A NORTH & SOUTHBOUND LANE WILL BE OPEN TO TRAFFIC DURING CONSTRUCTION.
